How do we live boldly in an atmosphere of masking for safety? The last advice from the health authorities say that with the presence of a vaccine, it doesn't mean that everything will return to a certain normality. Of course, COVID-19 has overstayed and doesn't want to die without a fight. The world by now is 85% opened, others can't and wouldn't because of the high risks and attendant circumstances that make it A known fear like the COVID-19 can no longer be a cause of alarm. There are remedies and measures that are already set in place. What is alarming is the undercurrent of paranoia and the conspiracy theories that abound without evidence support. It is a cause of division, suspicion, and propelled by election media. I once learned about the 'no regrets policy' in my consulting stint a few years ago with an international organization that is working in the humanitarian space. Apparently, humanitarian workers wok on different levels of crisis and bring to bear the whole gamut of relief and rescue activities in order to save lives, properties, and livelihoods. No questions asked. Transposing that into life in general and business life in particular, it is not rocket science that we can invoke the 'no regrets policy' as well in light of the post COVID19 transformations. We cannot sit idly by and watch while our health authorities predict and counter predict what will happen in the next few months. They do not come with exact science, either. Nobody knows, even Google can't. So what is stopping you from doing something that will create a sense of order, clarity, and significance in the next 6-12 months. Beginning 2021, your work today will have tremendous ability to create a momentum that will increase your chances of success, if not partial satisfaction, knowing full well, you have done the best of what you can.
